Passover Season Reflection: Having a Supernatural Mindset
Let's reflect on the Lord's message about leaving Egypt and entering the promise land.
And then discuss the need for a mind shift to experience the supernatural, referencing Moses' staff shift.
While highlighting the transformative power of applying Jesus' blood on our minds.
Wilderness Mindset | Deuteronomy 1:6–8 | You have dwelt long enough on this mountain...
The Wilderness Mindset and Relationship with God
The wilderness mindset refers to a prolonged stay in a place, often due to habits, addictions, or loose living ways.
It's time to break cyclic patterns and take possession of the land based on the Word.
The wilderness mindset is a result of God's push for people to leave their unhappy lives and relationships.
Despite seeing miracles and praise for God's victory in Egypt, people remain in a state of bondage. The performance of miracles is a temporary means to reach the end of our relationship with God. A mature relationship with God requires choosing God of our own free will without the promise of the miraculous.
New Supernatural Mindset - Our attitude towards the Word of God is called a mindset. A particular way of thinking.
Right mindset - See Romans 12:2 | 2 And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be [a]transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].
Supernatural Mindset - See Colossians 3:2 | 2 Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value].
The promise land God is giving us requires all of us. Total surrender to Jesus. His WORD. We will see the fulfilment of promises as we possess the supernatural mindset as the WORD of God is written on our hearts & soul. See Deuteronomy 11:18-22 | 18 “Therefore, you shall impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul, and tie them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as [a]bands (frontals, frontlets) on your forehead. 19 You shall teach them [diligently] to your [b]children [impressing God’s precepts on their minds and penetrating their hearts with His truths], speaking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road and when you lie down and when you rise up. 20 You shall write them on the [c]doorposts of your house and on your gates, 21 so that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, as [d]long as the heavens are above the earth. 22 For if you are careful to keep all this commandment which I am commanding you to do, to love the Lord your God, to walk [that is, to live each and every day] in all His ways and to hold tightly to Him—
Deuteronomy 7:1-3: Understanding the 7 Giants in the Promise Land
Deuteronomy 7:1-3 describes seven giants to be defeated in the Promise Land: the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.
These giants represent various aspects of life in the Promise Land, including fear, materialism, pride, rebellion, and open lying.
The right mindset is crucial for thriving in the Promise Land.
The promise of revival can be achieved by continually seeking God's face.
Sacrifice is required to fulfill God's calling and step into a new beginning.
The Importance of the Blood of Jesus
Passover emphasizes the power of Jesus shed blood. God's desire for a similar Passover is emphasized. The process involves confinement and remembrance of Jesus' blood.
And like Hebrews says, His Spirit is flowing through our blood. His blood is actually activating in us. We must be activated in a new way, a renewal of the spiritual aspect of who He is and who we are and the union we have with Him comes into a whole new Baptism.
Leviticus 17:11 - “For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.”
Blood is so important to God that it is mentioned in the Bible around 700 times. David referred to the “incorruptible” blood. Peter spoke of the “precious” blood, and John wrote of the “overcoming” power of the blood.
Under the old covenant, the blood of animals was applied by sprinkling with the hyssop. Under the new covenant, we apply the blood of Jesus with our words. “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:10).
The Bloof of Jesus:
Provides forgiveness of your sins. “The law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” (Hebrews 9:22, NIV)
Enables you to overcome the devil and his works. “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…” (Revelation 12:11, NIV)
Heals you. “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2:24, NIV)
Sanctifies you. “Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.” (Hebrews 13:12)
Gives you boldness to approach God. “Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus…” (Hebrews 10:19)
Cleanses you. “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (1 John 1:7)
Cleanses your conscience. “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.” (Hebrews 9:14)
Brings you close to God. “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” (Ephesians 2:13)
Gives you life. “Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.” (John 6:53)
The Importance of Jesus' Blood in Life
Jesus' blood is the source of joy, peace, love, and humility.
It brings salvation and healing through two-fold atonement.
The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin, continuing daily when accepted into our hearts.
The Holy Spirit seals the soul with Jesus' blood, and only the individual can break this seal.
The Holy Ghost was given to help us use the powers in the blood.
Jesus, as the Son of God, was baptized in the Holy Ghost, demonstrating the path to take.
The blood is the source of eternal life, joy, happiness, and hope.
The blood of Jesus is not limited; there is blood for all and plenty left over.
Church membership outside the blood is nothing but death.
The blood, like God's love, is eternal and impossible for Heaven to run out of the love, faith, joy, peace, compassion, and patience needed in the blood.
The blood must be the most treasured possession when coming to Jesus.
Without the blood, you cannot have Jesus or the promises of God. The life is in the blood.
Learn the following steps in using the benefits of the blood in your life:
First: To receive divine blood, one must repent, confess sins, and accept new life through the blood. Being in Christ creates a new creation. Jesus teaches that only by being born again can one see the kingdom of God.
Second: The Holy Spirit seals your soul with blood, and you can't fear the devil stealing it. Sin can break this seal, but living for God is the only way to do so. Committing sin grieves the Holy Spirit.
Third: Know what is in the blood, know the powers—plural—that are in the blood. Through the blood of Jesus, His powers are your possession.
Fourth: You are made holy through Jesus' blood, and it is your choice to become holy like God Himself. Spiritual death occurs when sin enters the soul, and the divine blood of Jesus cannot be contaminated. To keep the divine blood flowing and His love and faith working, you must be free from sin and yield to the Holy Spirit. Believe that Christ was born of the Virgin Mary, and only sinless blood was brought from Heaven.
Fifth: As a holy person, you should utilize all the benefits of the blood, remembering the LORD's blessings and pondering the numerous benefits of the blood.
Sixth: The Holy Spirit has the authority to use the blood to make it living reality to you. By yielding to Him, He will use the blood through you, cleansing your soul and maintaining your holiness and purity. The nine fruits of the Spirit are all yours, and to have them produced in your life, you must yield to the blood through the Holy Spirit. Let the soul be readied through the blood.
The Importance of Jesus' Blood in Life (cont.)
Many people claim to be sealed with the blood of Jesus, but this is deceptive. When the blood comes into your heart and washes away all your sins, it makes you a new creation in Christ Jesus, and you stop all the fussing—and this includes a mind shift that will set you up for the miraculous. Indulging in the things the Lord said Thou shalt not do, you lose—or else never had—your salvation. Indulging in the works of the flesh, such as adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envying, murders, drunkenness, revellings, etc., is a sign of loss of salvation.
The blood of Jesus has never been wasted, and it can defeat the devil and all demons.
The Holy Spirit helps us use the blood to drive back the devil, set a boundary against the devil, defeat all depression, and destroy all fear.
The Holy Spirit is working to reveal what is in the blood to every born-again person.
It's time to stand up and be counted, accept the old-time power of God through the blood of Jesus, and decide whether you have eternal life or not.
The blood of Jesus is sufficient for every need, and it is important to understand what benefits you have through the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus has power over all diseases and afflictions. Jesus went about all Galilee, healing all manner of sickness and disease among the people. The blood holds power over all deformities, straightening weak legs, and putting eyes into empty sockets. It also provides life for the dead, as seen in the divine blood-call of Lazarus.
The Word of God must be reality to the heart. The Word of God must be used like a weapon, like Jesus used it.
Each member of the church must take on the role of evangelizing the world. The blood of Jesus is the passport to Heaven for everyone who wants it.
The will of God comes through the blood. All wisdom, knowledge, and understanding are needed through the blood.
The blood of Jesus is the part that delivers the human race.
To walk worthy of the Lord is to walk worthy of the blood. If one is not free from all sin, they are not walking worthy of the blood of Jesus.
Divine strength comes from the blood. The Holy Spirit helps take His glorious power from the blood and use it.
The truth of God today is in the blood. Education and worldly knowledge won't show the way to Heaven. Only through the blood will one find the paths of God.
Through the blood of Jesus, one is made partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. The blood light penetrates all the darkness of sin.
Accepting all that is in the blood is all yours, your possession.
Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. God is taking back everything that belongs to Him, including the earth. He will lift the curse from the earth and prevent the devil from stepping back on it. One chain of Jesus' blood will cast the devil into the bottomless pit, and later throw him into the lake of fire. The blood of Jesus can be used to trample the devil underfoot.
God is the head of the body, the church, and the firstborn from the dead. All fulness dwells in Jesus, serving all fullness to us. There are no lack of benefits God has for us.
Jesus made peace through the blood of his cross, reconciling all things unto himself. The Lord will come for a Church without spot, wrinkle, or any such thing.
Jesus made this holy living possible by shedding divine blood to make people holy.
Sin is to blame for all sorrow, heartache, despair, and broken homes. God is not to be blamed for any of it.
Many have backslidden, as seen with Adam and Eve, Judas, and Peter.
The mystery of Christ is the mystery of the blood, which Paul brought to the Gentiles.
Jesus was born of a virgin - the blood came from the Father, from divinity, the Holy Ghost.
Paul explains that the power of God works through the blood, which is filled with riches beyond the human mind.
The fellowship of the mystery, which has been hid in God since the beginning of the world, is made possible through the power of the blood.
Jesus gave all power to His disciples, who were to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out devils. The power to cast out devils is in the blood, and one devil cannot cast out another.
At the age of twelve, Jesus had all the answers through His divine blood. Through the blood of Jesus, one can have all the answers for life today.
The divine nature of the Lord, which Adam and Eve had, was destroyed by the devil. The blood of Jesus made a door back into Eden, allowing one to walk back into God’s happiness, peace, joy, and contentment.
God continues His plan, which was interrupted and set aside for thousands of years but put into motion once again at the Cross.
The mysteries of the Lord are being revealed to the Bride of Christ, who lives and abides in the power of truth. Man can be made new through that blood and go back into spiritual Eden.
Material possessions do not take us to Heaven. The eternal grace of God is what counts in life.
Jesus is always with us, even unto the end of the world, and through faith, one can know He is there.
The blood of Jesus brings individuals into a divine relationship with Heaven, allowing them to call Heaven anytime.
The Holy Spirit is necessary for using the blood, as it is God's gift to those who obey him.
Salvation and obedience to God are the qualifications for receiving the Holy Ghost baptism.
Without the Holy Spirit you cannot use what is in the blood. You will not find your way in this hour without the Holy Ghost whom God hath given to them that obey him (Acts 5:32). The Lord is coming after the obedient. The obedient will receive salvation and go on to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. Salvation and obedience to God are the qualifications for receiving the Holy Ghost baptism.
Man cannot do away with sins; only the blood of Jesus can wash away sins. Only through Jesus can you be forgiven. The Holy Ghost applies the blood. Man can point you to the blood, but man cannot forgive sins; it’s an impossibility. Being born new is a transformation that can only occur through the Holy Spirit applying the blood.
Paul's experience with Jesus led to a transformation from being against everyone but non-Christian Jews to humility, patience, generosity, and forgiveness. Salvation brings contentment and strength, as Paul learned to be full and hungry, abound and suffer need.
The divine blood of Jesus contains the overcoming power that Jesus used to defeat all evil while on earth. The courage of Heaven is in this divine blood, the strength of Heaven, victories for every valley, for every mountain.
We should not rely on our own opinions, but instead, we should submit them to God's Word, where the Spirit of Truth helps us evaluate if they meet the Word's standards. This avoids a careless spirit that displeases the Holy Spirit, as every idle word will be considered in judgment. (See Matthew 12:36-37)
Prayer:
I plead the blood of Jesus over my life today—my spirit, my soul, my body. I plead the blood of Jesus over everything in my life that may be troubled; my fears, my anxiety, my sickness, my confusion, my brokenness, my sin, my anger, my worry about other people, my future, my job, my marriage, my money, my eating, my time, my entertainment, my church affiliation, my thinking, my sleep. I place it all under the blood of Jesus, and I leave it there. I surround myself and my family today with the blood of Jesus. Let nothing affect me or my family that does not first come through the blood of Jesus—nothing from the enemy, from other people, or from the natural world. I let go of anything that cannot remain under the blood of Jesus—any habits, any material things, any thoughts, any people. I choose to remain under the blood of Jesus, and claim His protection, provision, and direction today. Amen.
