Revelation Counters Deception

  • Shines light to darkness.

  • Guides prayer.

  • Helps navigate God's doors.

  • Ensures proper management of relationships and things.

  • Indicates when to move on or severe.

The Importance of Discernment and Understanding

  • The Bible emphasizes the importance of discernment in times and seasons.

  • It's crucial to know when to pray and when to make faith moves.

  • Premature actions can be dangerous, and late actions can be detrimental.

  • We need revelation from the Lord and to perceive through His eyes.

  • Wisdom, knowledge, understanding, revelation, and discernment are vital for correct decision making.

  • An intimate relationship with the Lord and consistent time spent with Him are essential for accurate perception.

  • Decisions should be made with the Lord, not quick judgments.

  • Not every good thing is necessarily a God thing.

  • The keys to navigating are revelation and discernment, which includes knowledge and understanding.

The Importance of Wisdom and Discernment in God's People

  • Emphasizes the need for wisdom and discernment in God's people.

  • Reiterates the importance of not being gullible or critical.

  • Stresses the need for a people led by the Spirit and strongly rooted in the Word.

  • Suggests that divine revelation, not resolution, is crucial for navigating the new season.

  • Emphasizes the need for divine strategies and solutions derived from divine revelation.

Prayer Life

  • Non-existent prayer life or seeking signs over the Lord is a sign of a lack of prayer.

  • Seeking the voice of man over the voice of God is also wrong.

  • Credibility of prophetic words from others is based on their personal prayer life and foundation.

  • Weighing every word given to you and taking it back to prayer is crucial. Should not be a lack of responsibility, accountability, wisdom, and discernment on our part.

  • Wisdom is essential for navigating life, ministry, business, and relationships.

Prayer and Confirmation

  • Biblically, asking for confirmation is essential.

  • Seeking prophetic council and prayer support from trusted prophets is acceptable but balance and wisdom should be maintained in these activities and it should not precede your own prayer life. (See John 10:27-28)

  • God speaks to all his children, and it's important to cultivate personal prayer and discernment.

  • Prophets play a vital role in the kingdom, but it's crucial to cultivate one's own relationship with the Lord.

  • Leaders should train individuals to hear the voice of the Lord independently, while closely monitoring and pointing out blindspots.

  • Leaders should empower people, not enslave them or manipulate them.

  • Regular prayer, reading the word, and time with the Lord are essential.

  • After receiving confirmation, faith steps should be taken towards one's destiny.

  • These steps may be uncomfortable, require obedience and trust, but will birth one's promise.

This encounter below in the book of Matthew aptly portrays what has befallen the modern prophetic movement.

Matthew 16:1-4, New King James Version | 16 Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. 2 He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; 3 and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ [a]Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. 4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of [b]the prophet Jonah.” And He left them and departed.
  • The Pharisees were known sign seekers, a belief system that hinders faith and spiritual reality.

  • Jesus explains that their quest for specific "signs" is futile and blinds them to the spiritually obvious.

  • The gift of prophecy has evolved into a sign-seeking pursuit, a concept not commonly used in the church.

  • People without prophetic vision should develop their own prophetic sense. This sense is available through scriptures about God's immutable processes and patterns.

  • Evaluate signs and prophecies, not just seeking them from prophets or conferences. There is a need for fresh revelation and discernment to distinguish genuine prophecies from fake ones.

  • Do not be tempted to accept prophecies that are not from the Spirit of God, especially on social media.

  • Read the Bible regularly and do not accept prophecies that are not from the Spirit of God. Have a lifestyle of prayer, study of God's word, and a close relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • Interpreting dreams correctly requires close communion with the Lord. Prophetic dreams can lead to wrong paths and misguided decisions. Revelation, understanding, and knowledge are necessary for prophetic dreams.

  • Consistency and time spent with the Lord are key to spiritual growth.

  • Prayer, worship, and daily reading of His word are essential for spiritual strength.

  • Being filled with the Holy Spirit is necessary for all believers.

  • It's crucial to differentiate between the voice of one's flesh, the enemy, and the voice of God.

Prophetic Interpretation and Healing

  • Prophetic interpretation is crucial for correct interpretation.

  • Checking filters is essential for healing and deliverance from trauma.

  • Trauma can lead to wrong perceptions and hinder growth. Healing and deliverance can be a process, not a timeline. Healing can occur in waves, and patience is needed. Impatience and prematureness in healing can be dangerous. It's important to trust the Lord in the process and not rush into ministry.

  • We should not wait for perfection; we can only impart what we have.

  • Receiving healing first is best to avoid hurting others and gain authority over everything we conquer.

Understanding the Power of God's Word

  • God is transforming people from Egypt mindsets, aiming for a change of mindset and mind renewal.

  • Distinguishing between healthy and toxic individuals is crucial.

  • It's important to guard against falsehoods and to be discerning.

  • The Bible encourages testing the spirit and fruit, with warning dreams about certain people and situations.

  • It's important to exercise discretion and set boundaries, not to succumb to man's whims. Be gentle and wise, recognizing counterfeits and the Lord's calling for higher spiritual growth.

Matthew 13:10-17, New King James Version | 10 And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” 11 He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the [a]mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.12 For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand,And seeing you will see and not perceive;15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull.Their ears are hard of hearing,And their eyes they have closed,Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,So that I [b]should heal them.’ 16 But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; 17 for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.
Proverbs 25:2-3, New King James Version | 2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,But the glory of kings is to search out a matter. 3 As the heavens for height and the earth for depth,So the heart of kings is unsearchable.

Prayer

Father, I pray for an increase in wisdom, knowledge, revelation, and discernment. Give me clarity like never before. Remove confusion and help me become unstuck. Break chains and limitations and help me move forward! Help me overcome in Christ no matter what the obstacle. Shift things so that the things that are no longer necessary will be sifted out—the people that are no longer necessary, the alliances that are no longer necessary, the burdens that are no longer necessary, the activities that are no longer necessary, and the thoughts that are no longer necessary. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
